It is extremely harmful to live emotionally in the past. However,
it is essential to remember the past and to learn from all past achievements and
from all past mistakes.
However, nowadays we do not take advantage of past experiences
and we continue repeating the same errors again and again.
When something goes wrong, we can choose between two
actions:
Always blame somebody else: the parents, the boss, the
government, the teacher, etc. It is a very rewarding way of handling the
situation -it assures us that we are always right, that we are clever and
superior, and of course, we will be feeling well and pleased, but not learning
as we should.
Nevertheless, there is another way of dealing with a problem; it
is not an easy one or a pleasant one. We need to ask one simple question: Why?
Why did that happened? When we objectively analyze the whole
problem, then with great surprise, we always find that some part is our fault
-big or small but always some.
Why would we do that? It is not a pleasant task. Nevertheless, by
this course of action, we can learn not to repeat the errors, and it's the only
way to achieve intelligence and success in life.
Lamentably very few people are doing that
nowadays.
What you will read now is a compilation of what I have learned
during my long life.
Lessons that I received permit me, to a certain point, to
perceive what will come, by applying logic and utilizing only one law -all cause
will have its effect, and the cause lies in the past.
